ShapeShift 

This​ ​project​ ​was​ ​a​ ​result​ ​of​ ​a​ ​group​ ​show​ ​"SELF"​ ​which​ ​featured​ ​6​ ​artist​ ​and​ ​was​ ​curated​ ​by​ ​Mohan Kumar​ ​Thangaraj.​ ​The​ ​project​ ​was​ ​in​ ​collaboration​ ​with​ ​1shantiroad​ ​studio​ ​gallery. 

 

The​ ​installation​ ​melts​ ​lead​ ​which​ ​is​ ​fed​ ​onto​ ​the​ ​tip​ ​of​ ​a​ ​solder​ ​iron​ ​from​ ​a​ ​wire​ ​feeder​ ​mechanism​ ​and drops​ ​the​ ​molten​ ​lead​ ​onto​ ​a​ ​cylinder​ ​placed​ ​below​ ​it.​ ​The​ ​performance​ ​of​ ​this​ ​process​ ​is​ ​only​ ​in​ ​the presence​ ​of​ ​people​ ​in​ ​the​ ​space.
